What’s the difference between Stunning View and Stunning View Search?
They’re two small extensions that do one thing each. Stunning View replaces your new tab with live wallpapers, a clock and quick links. Stunning View Search sets your default search engine, so searches typed in the address bar are handled too. They work great together, but each one also works perfectly on its own.
Do I need to install both?
No — install whichever you like. If you want the complete experience, add both: the new tab handles how your browser looks, and the search extension handles where your address-bar searches go.
Does it slow down my browser?
No. Wallpapers are lightweight, bundled loops that pause automatically whenever the tab isn’t visible, so they don’t drain your battery or CPU in the background.
Do you collect any data?
Never. Stunning View has no servers and no analytics. Your settings and most-visited tiles stay on your device.
Will it work offline?
Yes. Every wallpaper ships inside the extension, so your new tab looks stunning with or without a connection.
Can I use my own image?
The current release ships nine curated video wallpapers with shuffle and daily modes. Custom uploads are on the roadmap.
