These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Stunning View Chrome extension and this website (together, the “Service”), provided by Stunning View (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not install or use the Service.

1. The Service

Stunning View replaces Chrome’s new-tab page with live video wallpapers, a clock and greeting, a search box, and tiles for your most-visited sites. As part of this experience, the Extension sets Stunning Search as your default search provider; you may switch to another search engine from the toolbar popup or change it in Chrome’s settings at any time.

2. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Extension for your own non-commercial use. We retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including all software, design, and branding.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the Extension, except where such restriction is prohibited by law;
• Redistribute, sell, sublicense, or rent the Extension;
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or infringes the rights of others;
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems;
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices contained in the Service.

4. Wallpapers & intellectual property

The Extension ships with curated video wallpapers that are free-to-use and credited to their respective creators within the Service. Those creators retain ownership of their work. The Stunning View name, logo, and the design of the Service are owned by Stunning View. Nothing in these Terms grants you rights to use our trademarks without prior written permission.

5. Third-party services

The Service lets you search using third-party search engines and link to third-party websites (for example, your most-visited sites). We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party service. Your use of a third-party search engine or website is governed by that party’s own terms and privacy policy.

6. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what the Extension can access and how your data is handled. In short: your settings and browsing data stay on your device, and we do not run analytics or collect personal information.

7. Availability & changes

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (in whole or in part) at any time, with or without notice. We may also add, change, or remove features — including available wallpapers and search options — as the Extension evolves. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or compatible with your device or browser configuration.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stunning View and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service — even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Because the Service is provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to USD $0.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stunning View from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms or any applicable law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by removing the Extension from your browser. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will continue to apply.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
